WE’RE HOSTING A VARIETY SHOW:
Starting December 15th @ 7pm we’ll be hosting FEARSOME PRESENTS, a monthly variety show at the People’s Improv Theatre!

Each show, we’ll proudly parades our funny friends around the stage, making them do tricks and skits for applause.
This month’s theme: St. Patrick’s Day, of course.

FEARSOME in Philly? What? But everyone knows that FEARSOME swore off Philly permanently and declared it a “national disaster” after the 1982 Philly Sketch Off when the group “Giggle Goonies” blatantly stole the FEARSOME sketch “Atari Harpies.”

Yes, that took a lot of getting over. But, we decided to put our qualms aside briefly for a trip to the Liberty City to record our single, “Guns ‘n Buttholes.”

We put our heads, and vocal chords, together with famed Philly producer, AD in a crazy, sweaty, bloody session.

We look forward to releasing the track when it’s done. Next up…the video.

Here are some snaps of our trip.

FEARSOME members have had an incredibly busy summer.  Chris has been burgging it up nonstop.  Shayna rocked it out all summer.  Alex wrote and produced two different plays in two different festivals.  Katherine has been slowly taking over the world one frog at a time.  Jaime has a production of her own (well, her husband helped).

 But now all these distinctive parts will come together again to make one gigantic FEARSOME!  It’s like Transformers, only much cooler.

This Friday night - June 8th - at 9pm - FEARSOME takes the stage for our third year at SKETCHFEST NYC!!!

We are super excited about this show and this festival. If you’ve never checked out SketchfestNYC you should!! because you will see all the funniest, most creative and inspiring sketch writers from across the country together for one weekend of comedy debauchery and it’s WORTH IT!! We’re greasin’ up, how about you?

This is a message that’s going out to “The Fearsome Foursome.”

I recently heard (on wikipedia) that you are a supervillain group made up of Devos the Devastator, Huntara, Klaw, and Paibok the Power-Skrull.

You guys sound so cool.

Our names are a little weak compared to yours, but who knows…maybe Chris and Alex are crazy rare names in the Marvel Comics universe.

I wanted to say great job for defeating “The Fantastic Four,” those guys sound weak and I’m sorry that the Avengers gave you some trouble. What’s their deal? I’m glad that you remembered that you were supervillains and pulled it out.

In case you haven’t looked up “Fearsome Comedy” on wikipedia (where I found you) we are a sketch comedy group out of New York City. Our weakness is improv and our super weapon is fake puke. If you come to our show, GUNGREASE, that’s coming up at the P.I.T, Fridays at 8pm, you’ll see what I mean. We’re also good at doing scenes backwards. We call that “rewinding.”

Fearsome Foursome…you guys are awes. Keep up the killer supervillian work.
